Expert reports

Your project is in good hands with us: we stand for independent expertise. First, we’ll check your models and strength assessments. Our structured process guarantees that nothing will be forgotten thanks to our proven checklists.

Then, we’ll prepare a test report that meets the requirements of the relevant licensing authority. When drafting our reports, we work hard to ensure they’re meaningful and easy to understand.
Failure analyses
If technical components fail, we can determine why using numerical simulations and traditional strength analyses. Together with other specialists like material testing experts, we’ll systematically investigate the cause of the problem.

We can then make claims for damage and prove – or disprove – these claims as an independent partner using simulations of the assumed damage sequence.

Numerical models

We can develop complete numerical (FE) models on your behalf. In doing so, we consider nonlinearities that may result from large deformations, contacts or non-linear material behaviour.

Our services include validation and documentation. In addition, we can advise and support you as needed and instruct individual users as well as teams.
Approvals
What proofs and measures does the law require? Structalys compiles all the standards applicable to your component and defines all the relevant measures. In cooperation with an accredited approval authority, we therefore pave the way to the legal marketing of your component – always keeping your workload and costs in mind.
To obtain approval in an efficient manner, we compile all the necessary documents and data on your behalf. If necessary, we can also assist you with – or assume full responsibility for – project management.
Support for research topics
Numerical models of novel structures and materials are often challenging. In general, they have to be created iteratively, as input data is largely unknown. When applied research is required, it can be worthwhile cooperating with universities and research institutes. Structalys has all the necessary contacts to help you conduct joint research work and organise studies.

If desired and possible, we can also request funding for your project from the Swiss federal authorities (CTI) or foundations. Finally, we are happy to handle project management and monitor the project schedule, costs and quality of results on your behalf.
